Making a Purchase

Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on ‘Checkout’ and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.

We accept debit and credit card payments or Paypal. All payments are handled by PayPal’s secure payment process. When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site. The payment process is fully PCI DSS compliant.

If you are shopping from outside the UK, place your order and your card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. We only deliver to the UK. We accept most major credit and debit cards including Visa and MasterCard. If you do not wish to pay online, you may send your card information via phone or by post, please contact us first to arrange this. If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us immediately and we will make every effort to correct the mistake.

When confirmation of your order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.

If your items are not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Products will only be shipped if payment has been received. Our payment process gives you confirmation that the payment has been made.

Normal UK V.A.T. charges apply.

Shipping and Handling

Our normal Next Day shipping charges are based on weight and are detailed below:

UK Mainland only, up to 3 Sledges in the same order = Total weight up to 10kg. If the same order exceeds 10kg we charge extra per 10kg.

Northern Ireland only, up to 3 Sledges in the same order = Total weight up to 10kg. If the same order exceeds 10kg we charge extra per 10kg.

Every attempt has been made to ensure that the cheapest carriage charges will always be available as options for you to choose in the Checkout process.

We will normally ship your order as described here:

1/Orders placed before 10am will normally be despatched the same working day.
2/Orders placed after 10am will normally be despatched the next working day.

We will normally send your order to you using our Next Day Delivery services. Please be aware that adverse weather conditions beyond our control may delay dispatch or delivery. We will make every attempt to dispatch your order under adverse weather conditions, but we cannot be responsible for our carriers not being able to complete delivery under these circumstances. You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence. You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received. You must let the delivery company know at the point of delivery if the goods appear damaged.

All the information on this website is based on a working week of Monday to Friday, excluding Bank Holidays.

Our commitment to providing you with the best products we can means that we may make improvements to any of our products, which are not reflected in this website. Every attempt will be made to make sure the website contains accurate information, but we cannot be responsible for errors and their consequences. Images shown may not always be the latest model/design.

Returns Policy

Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive. You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods unused within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.

This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault – for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described. Any goods returned should be in saleable condition. These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future. None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder.

Plasticity Ltd T/A Eco Sledge do not disclose buyers’ information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment e.g. carriers for delivery. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
